A homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaign I'm currently working on with custom races, backgrounds, and spells that are all written and developed by me. The campaign follows a religious cult and their goal of resurrecting old, forgotten gods. This project is currently under development and thusly will be updated on here occassionally.
Occasionally, I write some short stories inspired by prompts found online. Among these are some that are simple slice of life stories, some that are a bit more metaphorical and fantastical, and some that are pure fantasy and spectacle.
A recreation of the targeting system as seen in the 3D Fallout games (Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4). Created with Unity.
Developed a custom Unity toolbox that makes use of translation, rotation, scale, shearing, and squash & stretch. The toolbox uses a custom transform component and is a tech demo that could theoretically be translated into a custom engine with ease.
A final-year group project developed in a team of 5. The project is still under development, and more of this project will be shown off by late March.
This portfolio was written by myself and hosted on Github.
Ever wondered why your packages never arrive in one piece?
The Northern Post Demolition Co. makes a profit destroying your packages so the postmen don't have to! You're newly employed at their local factory, and it's your mission to demolish as many boxes as possible.
The game can be played exclusively with a mouse, as the goal of this game was to have a single control (in this game's case that would be click-and-drag).
In the abandoned village of Bockhampton, a young professor McRoe has heard rumours of a microbe that can supposedly rapidly multiply to create structures. Using her knowledge of microbe abilities, as well as the tools to turbo boost these abilities, will she find what she's looking for?
This game is a point-and-click game. Find materials from your surroundings, then take and refine these materials to create powerful microbes. Use these microbes to complete tasks and solve puzzles. This game was made for the University of Portsmouth Game Jam 2020.
Raise the sails, man the port-side cannon, and get ready for an adventure!
Caribbean Waters is a multiplayer party game where you, together with three friends, try to hold a ship together on the open ocean blue. You and your crew can act as ferocious pirates and attack any ship that lines your sight, or maybe you are more of the business crew, who sell cargo wherever you may go in an attempt to become the richest men in all of the Caribbean.
My name is Naomi, and I'm a student at the University of Portsmouth, studying Computer Games Technology BSc. My passion is for games programming mainly, spanning everything from systems for gameplay to tools and streamlining processes, but any part of development intrigues me from narrative design to 3D graphics. I have been developing games personally since 2016, all varying in scope and size. I am a massive movie buff, I like to both write and cook, and when I find the time for it I like to sit down and play or replay a story-heavy game.
