Fearing Mirrors

For six weeks, I studied game writing skills from Lorne Nudel, a senior scriptwriter at Ubisoft Bordeaux. Under him, I was taught skills pertaining to writing within games specifically, such as scene work, character development, world and lore establishment, as well as being taught about the writer's workflow within game studios, extending to working with voice actor and motion capture artists, and traditional narrative hierarchies at game studios.

Throughout the course, I worked on a project called "Fearing Mirrors", a story which puts the player in the shoes of a prepubescent teenager as they are struggling with themselves changing against their will. The game's story touches primarily on themes of dysmorphia, with the player changing into a body they may not expect.
